Dr Nicola Morgan
I am the co-founder of this website and the editor of the site. I am an Educational Technical Professional (I) within The Manchester Metropolitan University and have an interest in widening pedagogical approached within the higher education setting.
I thoroughly enjoy escape rooms and played a fair few online during 2020. We wanted to find an approach to teaching that would capture students interest but also make it accessible for as many students as we can. An online escape room that students can access through their phones, computers or tablets, enables them to learn whilst enjoying a gamified revision tool.
Dr Matthew Jones
I am the co-founder of this website and a Senior Lecturer in Physiology at the University of Salford. I am passionate about supporting students through the transition from further education into higher education and the development of innovative learning experiences aligned to the bioscience discipline. The co-creation of this digital escape room platform will enable students to gamify their learning, apply thier knowledge and enhance their higher education experience.
